Terms
Using doxxed.bio means agreeing to what's below. It's short.
The service
- Claim a username, put your links on a page. It's free
- You are responsible for everything that appears on your page
- You must be old enough to agree to this where you live
Names
- Usernames and aliases come from one shared pool, so a name can only be held once
- Changing your username, releasing your alias, or deleting your account makes that name immediately available to anyone else, and any link pointing at it stops working
- We can reclaim a name that impersonates a person or organisation, or one reserved for running the service
Aliases
An alias is a second name pointing at the same page. Right now anyone can set one, free. That may change later. If it does, any alias you already hold stays yours.
What you can't put on your page
- Impersonation of another person, brand or organisation
- Illegal content, or links leading to it
- Malware, phishing, or anything built to deceive whoever clicks it
- Sexual content involving minors
- Harassment of, or content targeting, a private individual
A page breaking these can be removed without warning.
What you upload
- You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us permission to store and serve it for one purpose, which is displaying your page. Nothing else, and it ends when you delete it
- Only upload things you have the right to use
What Premium will never be
There is no paid plan today. This section is a commitment about what one can ever be, and it binds doxxed.bio permanently.
- Paying will never unlock customisation a free account cannot already do. Every layout option, every effect and every setting on your page stays available to everyone
- Nothing that is free today will ever be moved behind a payment
- No limit will ever be placed on a free account in order to make paying more attractive. No caps on links, uploads, views or anything else introduced to be sold back to you
- Premium, if it exists, will be cosmetic. Things that make a page look different, never things that let a page do more
This applies to every account, including accounts created long after this was written, and it does not depend on who owns or runs the service. If doxxed.bio is ever sold or transferred, this section transfers with it and binds whoever takes it on.
If we ever break this, anyone who paid us is entitled to a full refund of everything they have paid, and may ask for it at any time.
No warranty
The service is provided as-is. It may go offline, lose data, or change without notice. Keep your own copies of anything you would mind losing. See the privacy policy for what happens to deleted files.
Ending it
- You can delete your account whenever you like, from the dashboard
- We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page changes with them.
What Premium will never be is the exception. It cannot be edited, narrowed or removed by a later version of these terms. A future version of this page that contradicts it does not replace it, and the version in force when you signed up continues to apply to you regardless of what any later version says.
